{Sponsored Post} Autumn Clothes for Girls

September 5, 2012 · 7 comments

Now Miss L is back to school, it’s time to go through her wardrobe and have the bi-annual turn out of what doesn’t fit anymore.  At the weekend she’d been trying to put on a favourite top, and it just didn’t fit her anymore…and the same happened with the next one she tried to put on – ooops!.

Although she’s only 9, her clothing size is about an age 12 – depending on where we’re shopping.  But I’ve found that trying to find age appropriate clothes for her is really hard. She still wants to dress like a little girl with cute things and not like a teen just yet.  This doesn’t make my life easy to say the least!.

Thankfully because she’s in school uniform 90% of the time, she doesn’t need a massive amount of clothes.  What we’ve started to do over the last couple of years is have some basics – black or grey leggings, a pair of jeans and some plain colour t-shirts and then layer them with a colourful dress, or a plain dress with some funky leggings.  That way they look cool, but you don’t need to buy a huge amount of clothes as they grow so quickly.

Joules asked me what I’d pick out from their new season and I think they have some pretty fun things for little girls to wear.

Joules wellies £24.95 and Girls Dresses £29.95

Stripey  Maylett Leggings  £14.95  Ava Girls Applique T-Shirt  £19.95

Stripey Fleece Sweatshirt £29.95

Now that I’ve seen the new collection, I’ll be shopping online to buy girls clothes from Joules.  What are your favourite pieces from the collection?

I adore Joules, and that tunic in particular. In fact I may have to peruse their website. Again.

We saw that fleece the other day on the rail. T grabbed it straight off and wouldn’t let go, I can’t blame her it was very soft! She might get lucky at some point.
