Remember my little silver buckets from Christmas?
Well I’ve added some mini daffodils from the market, a bit of dirt, and spring is in the lounge!
Just be careful not to overwater them as there is no drainage, so a tiny drop will keep them going. Try different bulbs, whatever your local market or garden center has flowering at the moment will work. Have fun experimenting!

When I potted my herb seeds, last year, I took a leaf out of my Mum’s book. I Saved up a load of plastic cups and tubs, poked four holes in the bottom of each with a very slim screwdriver, then put a layer of “crocks” in the bottom, which were pieces of polystyrene cups, for drainage. Then I stood them in various kinds of low dishes and one of those long narrow trays ( what are those trays for!) in my kitchen window. I have some buckets like yours, so I could move the plants around on a whim. Especially as I kept using the herbs!
What a great idea! And I bet they smell amazing x

Loved these flowers in silver buckets, especially the mini daffodils. I have a few small clay pots that I’ve painted myself, I have put them on a shelf near my dining area and keep rotating the flowers and leaves plants in them.
