CyberMummy 2010 – Sponsors Needed for Mummy Bloggers

cyber-mummy-logo It’s an exciting time in the British Parent Blogging community, we are having our first conference CyberMummy on 3rd July, I have my ticket and I can’t wait!.

You’ll notice it has a beautiful website and badges – made by me, however the actual hard bit of setting it up and running it has been done by Susanna (www.amodernmother.com), Sian (www.mummy-tips.co.uk) and Jennifer (www.alphamummy.com)

They have banded together and organised a one-day event where we can share stories, trade tips and learn a few things from experts and each other. The day will have sessions devoted to content, understanding technical things like SEO and working with sponsors.

Although it’s very reasonable early bird price of £80 (before April 15th) and then goes up to £100 after that that, it is out of reach to some Parent Bloggers.  Some of who are on one or a reduced income and can’t afford the ticket and the travel. So I’ve been inspired my good friend Karin at Cafebebe who’s looking for sponsors.   I thought that if I can match PR’s and Parent Bloggers it might help a few people out.

So Parent Bloggers if you are looking for sponsors, leave a comment on this post with a link to your blog and what you are willing to offer in terms of ad’s etc.  PR’s if you’re reading and you’d like to sponsor a Mummy Parent Blogger please feel free to contact anyone who’s commented on this post – then you can negoitate terms between you.

Good Luck!

  1. Great idea! I’m a new mum of twins still on maternity leave, so cash is definitely a bit tight at our house right now. I’m willing to consider any ads etc on my blog – currently don’t have any but that doesn’t mean it’s not a possibility in the future, and would be more than happy to write reviews, test products, etc.

  2. Ooh me me me please. Would love to go but due to living so far away the travel, and hotel adds alot to the very reasonably priced ticket.

would be willing to offer add space for a limited (agreed) period, quote sponsor in all cyber mummy posts and tweets (including live update posts throughout the day). Would be willing to wear promotional material and would consider any other terms.

  3. I would love to go to the conference if I could get a sponsor so I think this is a really great idea.

My blog is http://www.frugalfamily.co.uk and I would be happy to display a sponsors logo or ad on my blog between now and the CyberMummy coonference and also to place the company logo in any posts relating to CyberMummy.

    Thanks very much

  4. That is a fantastic idea.

I would love to be considered my blog is at http://www.susankmann.co.uk. I would consider an ads, reviews, etc.

Due to living up in Scotland, the travelling costs are probably going to cost more than I can afford to go. I would love to go and meet up with all the lovely mummy bloggers.

  5. I would love to be in attendance but as a single parent and a student the cost of this is far out of my budget!
My blog is http://singlemotherhoodchallenges.blogspot.com/ and I would be happy to display a sponsor logo on my blog and to review any of your products or services if they are of something of use to me and my son. I will also mention you in all posts about cyber mummy and on twitter both prior to the event and after.

If anyone would like to sponsor me I would love to hear from you.

    Many thanks

    1. Hi Hayley,

If you’re only looking for sponsorship to get into the event and are sure you can go, let me know as I would be more than happy to sponsor you. I’m not looking for any advertising in return, I’d just hate for you not to be able to go.

      Cheers,

      Chrissie (www.mediocremum.com)

          1. Chrissie thats brought a tear to my eye that you could be so kind?! Its only the ticket thats the problem, I’m only just outside london so dont have to worry about travel or accomodation expenses luckily. That is an amazing offer. I really cant thank you enough for that!

  6. I agree with everyone else this is a fab idea. I have already wrote to all the PR’s I have details for, which isnt many and asked if this would be possible.

It is the travel and hotel fee’s that would be a super killer for me. I dont want to sound all beggy, but £100 is a fortnights food for us and with living in the deepest darkest North East of England that and travel is going to be the difficulty for me.

I understand that the conference is great value and I would love to be part of such a super event, but understand that there is many more people out there were off than me.

  7. I would love to go to Cybermummy but we just don’t have sufficient income to pay for the ticket.
I am happy to consider advertising, reviews and sponsored posts but would like to work closely with a sponsor to tailor a partnership that is perfect for both the sponsor and glowstars.net and as such I am open to other ideas in addition to those mentioned above.

  8. As a new Mommy who blogs to both a British and American audience I would love to attend, but travelling from Glasgow and other costs are not within my current means.

I’m willing to work with sponsors to help promote their brand and Cyber Mummy through all strands of social media, including but not limited to: blogging (dedicated posts, ad space, reviews, contests/giveaways, etc), twitter (RTs, links, live tweets, etc), facebook, myspace, bebo, etc.

I’m dedicated, driven, spunky and creative–hell I wrote this all one handed while feeding! I’d work closely and coopertively with any sponser to make sure we had a mutually fruitful partnership.

  9. I would love to go and would happily do almost anything for my sponsorship over on Notes From Lapland. That would include flights from Kuusamo Finland to London, a hotel for the night and my ticket.

Sadly, I think the chances are quite slim. ha ha ha.

Nice Idea Liz, I hope some bloggers get matched with some awesome sponsorships and I look forward to hearing all about it and living it vicariously through you all… unless someone really wants to pay for my flights… *hopeful grin*

  10. I’m looking for a sponsor! I would be happy to run ads or post reviews of products and I would also be happy to mention the sponsor or use their logo when I am posting about cybermummy on my blog, on twitter and on Facebook.

If anyone would like to sponsor me that would be wonderful!

  11. Can dads enter? As CafeBebe Karin said, ‘@dotterel is an amazing parent blogger who would like to gate-crash Cybermummy and be the lone one with testosterone…”

I couldn’t have put it better myself!

    1. Of course you can!! I meant to put Parent Bloggers all the way through. PR’s Tim is a fabulous author and all round great bloke – sponsor him! 🙂

  12. I was so excited to hear about the event, and the chance to meet some other mummy bloggers who have become good friends.
I would desperately love to be adopted! My site is http://www.babygenie.co.uk
Could offer a PR a badge on right hand side for sponsoring me, plus a write up of the event as sponsored by them, making it possible for me to go, and product review if required.
Would also tweet their praises obviously!

  13. Liz,
This is amazing – it really is great to see so many bloggers trying to help each other.

Tim….. as if we could or would leave you out…. you are one of us right?

Heather… and well everyone else really… I am staying over at the hotel on the Saturday night…. Staying up all night is called a party is it not? Will make us all feel like teenagers again…
    xx
