Earlier this week, I set the Spring Clean – 10 Minute Challenge and here’s how mine went, I started with the smallest job I could find. Our shoe basket in the hallway looked like this.

I took them all the in lounge and had a sort out. It turned out that one member of the family had 10 pairs of shoes in the basket and it wasn’t Lily or I
Between us we managed to give to charity 15 pairs of shoes which either didn’t fit (Lily), were ridiculous (Me) or didn’t really like that much (Paul)

Our Basket now looks like this.

The liners are still in the wash (as they were seriously scary!) and should be ready soon. The next 10 minute job is our wardrobe….I’m leaving that for Sunday morning!

looks fantastic – well done liz!!!
wow looks good!
I love this idea. If I can split it down into ten minute jobs it sounds far, far easier! Hmm, where shall I start?
Ooohhh you’ve inspired me…I’m off to chuck out some old trainers and outgrown school shoes…there’s even a few scruffy old flip-flops in the bottom of our shoe basket that have been lurking since last summer…
Now, spring cleaning ten minutes at a time is something I could certainly cope with. I’m off to hunt down the smallest job and take it from there…
I am very much in awe of your new look baskets!! I so wish my house would tidy itself, but it just doesn’t seem to want to.

We love this idea…10 minutes – you’d think you couldn’t do a thing – but wow! what a difference!
It’s been so nice of late – raining this weekend, but it’s making the flowers start to pop up from the ground!
Glad you are seeing the light of day…outside as well as the spring cleaning
Hope you have a terrific week Liz!
