Chestnuts roasting over an open fire…..it’s December!!!

This is our house last year, but I promise to take pictures of this year and post them and hopefully they’ll be less blurry
So if you’d like to show off your decorations and join in the fun please link to your post below, it’ll be running from 1st – 25th December and I can’t wait to see them all.

What a great idea, I am so excited about preparing for Christmas this year. We have already made our very own advent calendar and a personalised Christmas stocking and will have plenty more to show in the coming weeks!!
Do you have the html for the Christmas decoration tour banner so I can add it to my blog?
Hope you don’t mind,Liz, but I’ve posted one of my fave pics of last year’s Christmas tree to start the bauble rolling… I’ll be back when we’ve put this year’s up – a job for this coming weekend.
Maria, I love the stockings they’re great! I’ll put the banner up in a moment for you to grab.
Tim – Course I don’t mind, he’s gorgeous and I’m happy to see him on here. Can’t wait to see this year’s shots
Very pretty! I love the tree and fireplace.
I am beyond excited!!!
ooo, I can’t wait to get my tree. I want to start decorating, but have to wait for the boss to get the decor down from the rafters. I could be decorating on Christmas eve.
I will have to get busy on that! Love the angel on top of your tree.
Even blurry it looks good! Maybe hold off on the special egg nog til you take your pics this year (wink).
Thanks for the lovely comments and I’m very impressed with the tours so far. Thank you so much for sharing your homes and Christmas with me x
Wasn’t sure whether I could include my contribution or not – it’s a piece of artwork rather than a decoration as such, but it’s so very Christmassy I thought people might appreciate it like I did!
Jude, That’s absolutely fine – look forward to seeing it
It took me a while (we aren’t allowed to think about Christmas let alone put up the tree unitl after my son’s birthday in early December!) but I’m finally there.
Happy Christmas to all x
Tara it looks gorgeous, thanks for going to the trouble of posting it

Lovely to see photos of the snow, especially as we have not had anything more than a dusting. Very cold and icy here.
This is a fun idea! By the way, just saw you in Red magazine – a great feature about mummy bloggers.
Saw you in Red too! Fabulous. Now off to try and work the mclinky wotsit. Happy Christmas!
