But why wait until next Tuesday? We'll be starting to put ours up on Sunday - that's when Advent starts. It's great not to do the whole thing in one go; start with the tree; add the tinsel and the mistletoe; expand the card-string as they all start to arrive. And while we're on the subject of decorations, we never take them down on January 6th. Because that's Christmas Day according to the Orthodox tradition. So we've got another twelve days left!
