Snuggling

Autumn has arrived here in the UK the temperature has dropped about 10 degrees in the last week and judging from conversations on Twitter everyone I know have put the heating on.  Our house is a 1930′s one and although we have nice sold walls it takes until about mid November to warm up! In lieu of a gorgeous roaring fire which I’d love but don’t have I’ve been looking around at ideas to warm up with

A simple wall hanging can make a room feel warmer not to mention a dog to snuggle with.

A large throw over the bed and a couple of extra luxe cushions make going to bed to watch TV early a nice warm option.

Don’t forget the candles!

beautiful! I wish I had the eye for stuff like that, if I had the money would hire an interior designer…

Sigh. I would love all of those things.

I’m sure I’m due a lottery win sometime soon.

Oohh – I used to love wandering round Graham & Green when I lived in west London. Love the mohair throws and the way those colours work together.

P.S I’ve written a blog post about names – Lily gets mentioned. Don’t get offended by what my husband said!

Hey Liz….it’s getting pretty ch-ch-chilly here in Ohio too! Bundeling up sounds heavenly! Beautiful images…they make us want to dig out all of the thick warm blankets!
