I’m supposed to be working on the Violet Posy makeover – a little snippet above!. I’m installing the wonderful Thesis WordPress Theme which is used by the likes of Simple Mom and Inspired Room as I love the cleaner layout, mine’s getting a little cluttered. But I’ve gotten a bit bored of configuring it after 2 hours and I’ve just done a little online shopping to cheer myself up – oops!
I’ve just bought the last couple of holiday clothes I wanted for Lily from Boden. It’s worrying me that she’s so pale and I don’t want her getting burnt in the Florida sunshine. So I’ve bought her one of these surf suits that have special material to block the sun, I have memories of being nastily burnt as a small child in Florida because I was in the pool all day and I don’t want that happening to Lily.
And I snagged one of these fabulous towelling beach dresses. I have gotten one every year since she was two (they also resell on ebay for half to two-thirds of the new price, which makes me feel better about investing in a new one every year!). They’re great for throwing over a wet swim suit, as a sunshade and getting changed under now she’s older and more modest.
Right back to work, hopefully you’ll see a new and improved Violet Posy tomorrow?? Wish me luck
