There’s still time to plant…

TULIPS!

Admittedly not a lot of time to plant them, but I think you’ve still got a good 2-3 weeks to either get them in the ground or in pots.

They are well worth the effort as they are cheap and make fabulous cut flowers.  They also bring some very welcome dramatic colour to your garden in March/April and if you’re lucky into early May.

  1. Such a wonderful reminder of the hope of spring…flowers! I have ice and several inches of snow…so I think my planting hopes are lost for this season…but next fall, definitely!

  2. Ohhh, tulips. When I was a girl, my Dad was stationed in Germany. I will never forget our family trip to Holland. The gardens were AMAZING! I don’t have anymore room for bulbs :(. But am looking forward to when they come up in the spring!

  3. Tulips are a springtime favorite here. Our ground is still too frozen to put out any bulbs but I rather like the beauty of letting them bloom indoors in pots and enjoy indoor beauty. Lovely photos!

  4. Thanks for mentioning this. I have some lovely pink tulip bulbs that NEED planting. On my list for Monday — rain or shine!
