It's so charming and playful. And you're right, what a great project to do with your little one. I like to keep a supply of solid colored tissue paper on hand (they have some lovely metallics out there now) and then just some really beautiful rich looking ribbons in satins, velvets, and grosgrains. The tissue is so inexpensive, and if you buy a big roll of the ribbon it lasts a long time and is quite economical...plus it looks like you put WAY more time and effort into wrapping than you actually did! I suck at wrapping too!!....the best I do is to use tissue paper and gift bags.
