Guy Fawkes! I specialized in 17th Century British History in university, and I'm always so fascinated by how that day has remained an opportunity for revelry! No matter what the motivations are today, it sure looks like a lot of fun :) And thanks Liz for your well wishes on our new President. For the first time in a long time I am proud to be an American, which is quite a nice feeling. And it's amazing to see how people got involved here...I hope that having Obama in office will improve the US's tarnished international reputation. As a nation, we've been making right arses out of ourselves for quite a while now ;) Ooh! Guy Fawkes!
