We don't get much opportunity for apples here in So Cal!! The apple orchards are up north about 2 hours, but the fires and santa anna winds are blowing....so I just get to be there by reading your blog and seeing your pictures.....and that knitting circle, how cute! There is a real community feel as well here which seems to be sadly pretty unusual for the UK these days.
