You're going to be great...the most important thing I learned about marketing is that it's not much different than making new friends. You're building relationships one small step at a time, and no single consumer contact will be "the selling point" but rather it's the cumulative effect of your efforts that will result in success. And really, isn't blogging a bit like marketing too? It's about knowing your audience, knowing yourself and staying within those parameters, discovering what makes your point of view different and unique, putting your brand's own personal spin on everything you do and again...meeting new people and building relationships with them.
